Dr. Mendez was born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica. Graduated from St. Francis of Assisi School of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in 2024 and he is currently working on his veterinarian licensing in the US. He finished his clinical internship with us at OACC; working in the medical field since 2021, he is interested in the ophthalmology area. Dr. Mendez speaks Spanish and English and he will be more than happy to help owners and their pets. His dog, cat and a parakeet have been with him through this journey. Outside of work he enjoys practicing martial arts and playing guitar.
